Deep buried in the mountains of Graz, you will find the largest underground slide in the world. This spiral slide will take you to a depth of 170 meters at a speed of 30 km per hour!
For the little ones among us but also for the real daredevils, we can highly recommend Kletterpark Oberwölz. In a large climbing forest with 10 different courses, it is possible to vary between 1 and 25 meters in height! If that’s not exciting enough, a zip line awaits for you at the end of the course.
The weather in Styria is generally pleasant. With in the west-side of the Carinthia region, sometimes it feels like you are in Italy or Slovenia. Especially the summers are quite pleasant. During these months (June, July and August) temperatures fluctuates between 20 and 25 degrees. In spring and autumn, the minimum temperature will be around 15 degrees. In the evenings it can cool down a bit and should a rain shower occur, it is often heavy and short-term. Due in part to the surroundings mountains, it can happen that on one side of the mountain the sun shines and on the other side there is precipitation.
