In Diekirch you will find the National Military Museum with a lot of information about the Battle of the Bulge. For children, this region also offers a lot. Besides enjoying nature, there are several parks to visit, such as the open-air museum Robbesscheier, Aquarium Wasserbillig. In addition, a playground, zoo and fairytale forest in one can be found in Parc Merveilleux.
Teenagers can enjoy a beautiful tour on the Segway which you can make at different locations in Luxembourg. On the Echternach lake you can use your energy at various activities on and around the water.

Luxembourg has only one zoo: Parc Merveilleux. Nevertheless, you will find here more than 200 animals from five different continents. Besides the animals, you will find plenty of playgrounds, a petting zoo and a mini-golf course.
The Müllerthal region has a very temperate maritime climate. Because of the hilly terrain, we recommend a sweater for in the evenings. From the beginning of June till the end of September, the temperature will be around 18 and 25 degrees. With an average of 8 sun hours every day during the summer, you will be certain of sun during a visit to this region.
You will find a lot of variety in campsites from big to small inside the Müllerthal. Our favorite is Camping Birkelt Village. A pleasant family camping’s, close to the city of Larochette and in the middle of a forest. Due to the hilly terrain, erosion plays an important role in forming all the rock formations.
The capital is this region is the village of Enternach. This city is also the oldest city in Luxembourg. The castle of Vianden and Luxembourg City are also worth the visiting.
Every hiker will find the perfect trail in this Region. For the professional hikers will be the Müllerthal Trail a dream coming true. A well-marked path takes you between impressive forests and rock formation for 110 kilometers. If wanted, smaller selections of this trail can be completed as well.
Maybe the most famous waterfall of the northern countries in Europa, and for sure the highers waterfall of Luxembourg, is the Schiessentümpel waterfall. The stone arch bridge, which crosses the waterfall, is the most photographed bridge of Luxembourg.
