Campings Adriatic Coast

The Adriatic Coast is known for its long golden beaches, wonderful climate and Italian cuisine. There are also plenty of pleasant tourist villages which cannot be missed, such as Venice. Of course there is also time for rest, beautiful nature and relaxation.

A camping holiday at the Adriatic Coast means relaxing at the wide golden beaches on a sunbed while your children build sandcastles. You will not easily get bored in this region! Plan a visit to the unique city of Venice. From Punta Sabbioni you can get the ferry that will take you to the San Marco square in Venice within half an hour. Or, go to the bustling seaside resort Lido di Jesolo in the afternoon and wander through the shopping streets with restaurants, bars and numerous shops. In this region you can book a holiday at camping Ca Savio and stay in our mobile home type Estivo Premium Deluxe. Here you can relax in luxury and enjoy the diverse facilities of the campsite. Or choose for camping Pra delle Torri, a great campsite that has it all and more. Here too are our own mobile homes, type Estivo Premium Plus or type Estivo Elegante. If you are looking for a luxury holiday place, book the Estivo Premium Deluxe at the first 5-star campsite of Italy, Union Lido. Central located at this campsite, you will find our mobile homes Estivo Premium Deluxe, Union Lido Special and the Estivo Compact. Since 2023 you will even find the Estivo Premium Deluxe at camping Malibu Beach

A day of water fun with the whole family can be found in Aqualandia water park, located in Lido di Jesolo. Or go on a boat trip to the islands of Burano and Murano from Punta Sabbioni. For the little pirates among us there is a real pirate ship (Jolly Roger) which sails past the campsites and has a pirate show. In the many small villages you can visit the weekly market and lovely restaurants.

Frequently asked questions about the Adriatic Coast

Spend your holiday at the Adriatic Coast with the following tips:

  • Sports on the water: from parasailing and supping to jet skiing and diving
  • Drink the best cup of coffee in the coffee capital of Italy: Trieste
  • Visit the whole country in one day! Italia in Miniatura
  • Searching for flamingos at the Po Delta National Park
  • On the hunt for speed and adrenaline in Mirabilandia amusement park

Just outside Lido di Jesolo lies the spectacular Caribe Bay. This imposing water park has been voted Italy’s No. 1 theme park, and we truly understand that. Stunning palm trees with white sand below, exciting slides and details that are down to the last part taken care off.

Waterpark Atlantica is a water park for the whole family. Upon entering, you are welcomed by a giant whale, which is even part of the lazy river. A small water park just outside Cesenatico where you can escape from the crowds.

At the Adriatic Coast, the weather is almost every time of the year pleasant. Temperatures can reach up to 30 degrees during the summer. In the early and late season, the sun still feels warm. If traveling outside July, August and late September, a sweater or cardigan is recommended. When the wind blows from the sea, it can be quite chilly. Starting in May, it is already pleasant swimming, with an average water temperature of 20 degrees.

At the Adriatic Coast you will find several top campsites. For example, here you have Italy’s first 5-starcampsite, namely Camping Union Lido, where the luxury vacationer will find everything and even more. Another very popular campsite is Pra Delle Torri. In addition to all the top facilities at this campsite, you’ll even find an 18-hole golf course.

The Adriatic Coast in its entirety is more than 900 km long and extends through Italy into Slovenia and Croatia. The sandy beaches make this region ideal for a family vacation. This is because the beaches are wide and the sea shelves very slowly.

Almost all beaches at the Adriatic Coast have a blue flag. A quality seal of approval for clean water and a clean beach.

The most common airports are Venice airports. Also, most campsites are easily accessible by public transport. During the summer months, buses run several times from the airport to the campsites.

When you are staying at the West Coast at the Adriatic Sea, the Airport of Bologna is a possibility as well.
